My name is Christopher Fritze and I see myself as a globetrotter, challenge seeker, micro-adventurer, sports enthusiast, hobby photographer and filmmaker. Originally I’m from Flensburg, Germany. Besides in Germany, I lived in Ireland, Namibia and the United States. I served eight years in the German military and hold a masters degree in business management.
Currently I'm traveling the world on a bicycle. The goal of this journey is to visit every continent, travel significant distances on each of them and to raise donations of 3,000 Euros to equip classrooms in Darfur, Sudan. My passion are low budget travels. Since 2008 I visited more than 50 countries on four continents. In 2009 I hitchhiked for two weeks through Western Europe and lived from a daily budget of less than €15. Three years later I backpacked in Central America for two months and end of 2013 I traveled through southern Africa on a shoestring budget. |
In the following years I started to combine my wanderlust with my enthusiasm for endurance sports. So I did smaller cycling trips in Denmark and Germany such as Expedition1000GER.
If I’m not cycling, then I like to challenge myself in long distace running such as half-marathon, marathon and above.
