Video: Life in Laos - Hmong New Year Festival

[DE] Die Hmong sind ein indigenes Volk, das hauptsächlich in Südwestchina, Vietnam, Thailand, Myanmar und Laos lebt.

In Laos machen sie etwa 9-10% der Bevölkerung aus und letzte Woche feierten sie ihr Neujahrsfest.

Ich bin zu einer Feier etwas außerhalb von Luang Prabang gegangen, um mir einen Eindruck davon zu verschaffen. In diesem Video teile ich einige Eindrücke.

[EN] The Hmong people are indigenous people that mainly live in Southwest China, Vietnam, Thailand, Myanmar and Laos.

In Laos they make about 9-10% of the population and last week they celebrated their New Year's festival.

I went to a celebration just outside of Luang Prabang to get an impression of it. In this video I’m and sharing some impressions.

[DE] Zum Abschluss eines langen Sightseeing Tages in Vientiane im Dezember, bin ich Abends eine Runde über den Night Market spaziert. Was der lebhafte Night Market in der laotischen Hauptstadt zu bieten hat, das zeige ich in diesem Video.

[EN] At the end of a long day of sightseeing in Vientiane in December, I took a walk around the Night Market in the evening. In this video I’m showing what the lively night market in the Lao capital has to offer.
