[DE] Über meinen Kumpel Jaypee habe ich erfahren, dass auf Grund der Pandemie Situation viele Familien nicht über ausreichend finanzielle Mittel verfügen ihre studierenden Kinder in Luang Prabang finanziell zu unterstützen. In vielen Fällen ist es den Familien nicht einmal möglich Lebensmittelpakete zu senden, da die Provinzgrenzen Grund des aktuellen Lockdowns geschlossen sind.

Deshalb habe ich seit langem mal wieder meine Fahrradtaschen an mein Rad gehängt, bin zu einem Laden in meiner Nachbarschaft gefahren, habe es vollgeladen mit Nudeln und habe diese dann zu Jaypee's Haus gebracht, wo wir Essenspakete geschnürt haben. Jedes Paket beinhaltete 1,5 kg Reis, 6 Eier, 3 Pakete Nudeln und ein Bund frisches Gemüse.

Am Folgetag sind wir dann mit unseren Freunden Tick, Rico und Weer auf drei Motorrollern und meinem Fahrrad zu einem Studentenwohnheim gefahren und haben die Pakete an ca. 40 Studenten verteilt, um sie in dieser schwierigen Situation etwas zu unterstützen. 

[EN] Through my buddy Jaypee I found out, that many local families don’t have sufficient financial means to support their student children in Luang Prabang financially due to the pandemic situation. In many cases the families are even unable to send food packages because the provincial borders are closed due to the current lockdown.

That's why I've hung my panniers on my bicycle after a long time, drove to a shop in my neighborhood, loaded it with noodles and then brought them to Jaypee's house where we put together food packages. Each package contained 1.5 kg of rice, 6 eggs, 3 packages of noodles and a bunch of fresh vegetables.

The next day we went to a student dormitory with our friends Tick, Rico and Weer on three scooters and my bike and distributed the packages to around 40 students to support them a bit in this challenging situation.
